A Nigeria travel visa is a document issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) that grants permission for entry into Nigeria. It is your responsibility to determine whether a travel visa is required for your upcoming trip. The types of Nigerian travel visas available from the United Kingdom are:

To apply for a Nigerian Business Visa, you will need:
- Passport/Travel Document with a minimum of 6 months validity and two blank facing pages.
- Two recent UK passport-sized photographs taken within the last month.
- A formal typed letter of invitation addressed to The Nigerian High Commission London, signed, and dated by a senior member of staff.
- Copy of the inviter’s valid Nigerian passport or residency permit if non-Nigerian.
- A formal typed letter from your employer, stating financial responsibility and reason for the visit.
- Corporate Affairs Commission registration Certificate (CAC) of the inviting company.
- Evidence of return ticket and hotel reservation.
- Pre-paid special delivery envelope for passport return.

To apply for a Nigerian Journalist Visa, you will need:
- Passport/Travel Document with a minimum of 6 months validity and two blank facing pages.

To apply for a Nigerian Minor Tourist (Under 18s) Visa, you will need:
- Passport/Travel Document with a minimum of 6 months validity and two blank facing pages.
- Two recent UK passport-sized photographs taken within the last month.
- Formal typed letter of purpose stating the reason for travel and plans during the visit.
- Original birth certificate showing parent names.
- Copy of original birth certificate.
- Typed letter of consent from parents named on birth certificate addressed to the Nigerian High Commission, including the address where the applicant will stay in Nigeria and confirming immigration responsibility (4 copies).
- Clear copy of parent/s valid passport data/signature pages (4 copies).

To apply for a Nigerian Tourist Visa, you will need:
- Passport/Travel Document with a minimum of 6 months validity and two blank facing pages.
- Two recent UK passport-sized photographs taken within the last month.
- Formal typed letter of purpose stating the reason for travel and plans during the visit.
- Clear copy and original up-to-date bank statement showing balance, name, and address. Minimum balance £500.00 in credit (4 copies).
- Full travel itinerary.
- Return flight ticket and evidence of accommodation in Nigeria.

In most cases, original passports and signed applications must be submitted when applying for a travel visa. However, there may be exceptions. Please check the specific requirements for your destination on our website.
The photos submitted with a travel visa application must meet specific requirements regarding size, background colour, and paper type. While the photo in your passport may meet some criteria, it is essential to adhere to all requirements outlined by the consulate. Digital photos must also meet standard passport photo requirements and be printed on correct photo quality paper.
You can track the status of your order by visiting our Status Check page using either the CSG order number and traveller’s last name or the traveller’s date of birth and last name. If you are a CSG account manager, you can log in to your account to see all the orders you are managing.
The fees for processing a travel visa include consular fees charged by the country issuing the visa and GPS service fees. Consular fees must be paid regardless of whether the visa is issued or not. GPS service fees cover the cost of processing and maintaining high-quality service. The specific fees will be listed in our application packs.

Some countries may require proof of vaccination for certain diseases when applying for a visa. Any required vaccinations will be outlined in the CSG Information Pack.
